Daniel is an Economist with a strong background in public policy research and analysis. He is passionate about public policy formulation, design and analysis of theory of change to explain outcomes and impact of public policy interventions. 

Before joining ESSA, Daniel worked as a policy analyst at the Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis, the National Treasury and Economic Planning, Kenya, and the Agriculture and Food Authority, Kenya.

He holds a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Nairobi, Kenya.
