Richard Amoah, Head of Research - Innovation and Implementation
Richard Amoah boasts over 15 years of experience in education program design and management, focusing on training school leaders and teachers in innovative pedagogies and community education for change.
He previously led programs at AfriKids Ghana, including the Ghana Complementary Education Programme (CBE) and the Strategic Approaches to Girls Education (STAGE). Richard also initiated an EdTech project for primary school learners and contributed to national education policy development at the Ministry of Education.
Currently, as the Head of Research, Innovation, and Implementation at Education Sub-Saharan Africa (ESSA), he utilises evidence-based approaches to improve education quality.
Richard holds multiple academic degrees, including a Ph.D. in Culture and Development Studies, and is passionate about using data and narratives for educational advancement.
