About

Joachim is the former President and CEO of the Stuttgart-based Robert Bosch Stiftung.  He was previously  Executive Director and prior to this Senior Vice President “International Relations central and Eastern Europe, CIS, China” also at the Robert Bosch Stiftung.

Joachim has been an Adjunct Professor for Eastern European History at the University of Heidelberg since 2003.  He was a university lecturer at the University of Mainz and has also worked as a research and teaching fellow at the University of Mainz and the Johann Gottfried Herder Institute in Marburg/Lahn.
